Catalogs

Apparently, the woman who we bought this house from really loved catalogs. We seem to get more of them then we do bills! I like to flip through them before we throw them away.

Today we got on from Jessica London. I guess they sell clothing. I was flipping through the pages and noticed that the clothes didn't look quite right. I couldn't put my finger on exactly what was wrong. When I turned back to the cover, I saw that these were fashions for sizes 14W-34W.

Every single model looked about size six.

You should see the swim suit section.

Or maybe the intimate apparel.

It just doesn't seem right. If you're going to buy something from a plus size catalog, wouldn't you want to see how it looks on a plus sized person???

Walking the Dogs

I woke up early yesterday. Rob was still sleeping, so I decided to take the dogs out for a walk around the block. Have you ever tried walking two puppies at once?

First Ocho wrapped herself around my legs. Then Fang tried to trip me. Ocho decided she wanted to try and run through the neighbors yard. Fang wanted to go back to our house. Ocho saw Fang headed in the other direction and decided to chase her down and bite her. Fang got all tangled in her leash and fell down.

Once we got out of the driveway things went a little bit better. We got to the end of the block and I only had to stop to untangle the dogs thirty times! Fang got tired of walking and decided to lay down. She's small and it was only her third walk ever so I decided to pick her up so Ocho could keep going. Ocho looked back, saw me carrying Fang, said "Screw this!" and decided she was going to flop down in a freshly mowed yard. I pulled on her leash and wound up dragging her out into the street. She wouldn't get up. I had to carry her too!

When my arms got tired I put Ocho down. She jumped all over me. She refused to walk anywhere until I put Fang down. They play fought a little. Then they found a new freshly mowed lawn and they both laid down and refused to get up.

I finally got them to walk the rest of the way home. I let them in the door and unhooked Ocho's leash. When I turned around to unhook Fang I saw that she'd peed all over the floor. The little Brat held it for a half an hour because she'd rather PEE INSIDE!!!

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

The New Addition

We have a new member of our family. Right now she's scared as hell, hiding in our closet.

Her name is Fangoria, but she prefers to be called Fang. She's a vicious beast. Really. If you would have smelled her when we got her, you would say the same thing. We should have named her Ungodly Reek. She's had a bath since then.

She's a Bugg, which is a Boston Terrier/Pug mix. So far, her hobbies include hiding, shivering, and playing with Ocho in the yard. Now, maybe Ocho will leave the cats alone.

The best damn jacket ever.... In the history of the world.

This is in response to Amy's blog from not too long ago. This jacket rocks more than you could possibly imagine. Not only does it have the almighty Iron Maiden "Killers" back patch sewn on the removable jean jacket vest (custom made), but once the jean jacket vest is removed, the level of supreme coolness increases ten fold by the showing of the airbrushed Danzig skull, with the name of course, for all you peons who don't know who they are. LONG LIVE METAL!! ROCK ON!! Oops, pink isn't a very METAL color. Shit, neither is forest green. I better quit while I'm ahead.....

Merry Antichristmas!!!

It's 10 am and the world hasn't ended yet! On the plus side, if it does we don't have to go to work tonight!

Rob's Jacket

You better believe I'm doing everything I can to get that dog to eat this jacket!

The Meeting

We had a meeting at work today. Rob was lucky. He got to go home sick. Sure, he's miserable, but he didn't have to go to a meeting!

Every time we have one of these it's the same darn thing.

Point One: Financially, things are looking up. Not enough to give you all raises though.

Point Two: We one some awards. You guys are doing great! Not great enough to get raises though.

Point Three: Spoilages are bad. Stop screwing up. All the executives are going to get together and determine how we can get you guys to stop screwing up.

Point Four: We have some exciting new project going on. We're all very excited about the possibilities. Next time we have one of these meetings we will have a new project. You will never hear about this one again.

Yawn!
